General information
- Short Summary
- The company is a technology license business, based in the UK and working with LoRa (Long Range) technologies. They have developed a platform operating at 2.4 GHz being able to track/locate and provide data information on assets. The company is offering partners the chance to license (white label) the platform and just add their brand to it or to license different components parts of the platform to be incorporated with the partners’ own products.
- Full Description
-
The company which is based in the UK was incorporated in 2013 and has focused on location and data reporting operating with LoRa Technology (low power wide area network) from 2017, which is now its 100% focus. The company has 2 offices in the UK based in Derby and Newbury. The prime demonstration site for the technology is the Newbury office.
The company has been awarded substantial government grant funding to develop this technology and their platform, and the company is now ready to license this platform to companies and partners wanting to bring this capability to their customers.
The company has 2 partners on board currently and their ideal partner is an organisation who can fulfil a “one to many” approach, whereby the partner has extensive reach to other businesses and end consumers.
In return the company can offer their license partner the world leading platform operating at 2.4 GHz operating in indoor environments, as well as outdoor areas, operating on the same network. The platform can also identify different floor levels indoors such as multi floor buildings so the platform can truly operate with a 3D view.
Therefore, people and assets such as medical devices/equipment/tools can be tracked and their location reported on with an accuracy level of within 2 metres, if required. The location reporting is achieved by attaching an Intelligent tag to the asset and this tag can be customised to record and collect information from the person/asset therefore providing data & location.
So, the technology the company has delivered, can offer world class location reporting capabilities as well as a customised service suitable for license partner’s requirements and their markets.
The company is looking for licensing partners to bring location and data reporting services to the market through their own channels. Large, and preferably multi-country represented companies, are sought with strong sales channels and potential, ideally in European and North American markets via a license agreement.
The company is looking to build a long term mutually beneficial relationship with partners offering long term value and technical innovation in the large and expanding location and data services market. The end result would be achieved by a strong collaborative commercial partnership with technical assistance based upon the model the company is operating and experiencing with its major UK partner. Information on the detail of how and why this has been successful is available after receipt of an EOI. - Advantages and Innovations
