- Short Summary
- DisasterTech Hub: Increasing Disaster Ecosystem Capacity and Innovative Green Solutions in the Black Sea Region (DisasterTechHub) project will be implemented, the roles of local governments will be clarified regarding the disaster management methodology that our country has faced especially in recent years, the preparation of job descriptions as the DisasterTech Hub, the establishment of interactive collaborations with NGOs, the public, the academy and the society.

- DisasterTech Hub; It is aimed to contribute to internationalization in studies focused on technology, innovation and creativity by strengthening the integration of entrepreneurs and businesses providing services in the field of disaster technologies in our country, together with stakeholders at the regional level, with Disaster Management Technologies. Thus, it is envisaged to increase the power of Disaster Management Technologies sectors in value-added products and services in the Turkish economy. Within the scope of the DisasterTech Hub: to develop the innovative and creative product capacity of SMEs and entrepreneurs and to develop software, etc. in the field of disaster technologies. Entrepreneurship ecosystem activities will be carried out in order to strengthen the relationship between products. In this context, informative meetings, trainings, seminars and webinars will be provided for the target audience, SMEs and entrepreneurs. In the field of Disaster Management Technologies, events such as ideathon, demoday, as well as projects that produce innovative solutions, etc. Competitions will be organized to develop suggestions. In addition, it will be possible to implement an entrepreneurship training program for existing and potential creative entrepreneurs. As a result of our mentoring and coaching work for new entrepreneurs to see whether their business ideas will turn into business, support will be provided as a result of joint work with experienced academicians and business people in academic entrepreneurship.
- Advantages and Innovations
- DisasterTech Hubs function as an emergency center that can act in the region where disasters and emergencies occur. The process of disaster coordination centers that operate actively in the international arena, together with partner institutions and organizations, to the extent of coordinating activities to minimize the loss of human life, diseases and injuries, loss or damage to property and damage to the environment during a disaster event. It can be achieved through strategic decisions and operational activities coordinated by the Local Disaster Coordination Centers.
