Full Description

The module VERIFIED BY PHOTKO can be easily installed in the company's already existing app. The use of the module is simple since the user only has to capture and validates first the ID card using a document recognition application. The module uses optical character recognition (OCR) algorithms to recognize text from an image of a document. Then the user verifies her/his face with the help of liveness check. The module displays the face capture (guides the user through the capture process moving the head in a certain sequence). It allows the customer to use a service from their phone or tablet. They do not need to physically visit the company’s office to sign or confirm the contract.

The module captures an image of the document and a snapshot of the facial movements, in the same sequence as requested by the server in each case. Both are uploaded to the server where validation is performed. The validation process involves several different tests that check the validity of the document and the consistency with the required sequence of facial movements. After the validation is complete, the module passes a token to the application (that has this module implemented) which the client server can use to check the validation status.

After a successful capture, the SDK uploads the content to the server and after all content checks have been performed, returns a token that the SDK passed to the client application. The application uploads the token to its server, which uses the token to query the server via the REST API and then gives the feedback on the success of the check and with that prevents any frauds.

The app can be customized by companies wishes. For example, if a company already has its own distinctive color, it can be implemented in the module and thus not stand out from the company itself.
