Established in 2019 by two brothers (an architect and an engineer), the company was developed out of a passion for simplicity, modernity and quality in interior design. The small factory has a dedicated team and its own brand.
Why concrete? Concrete is known for its strength, durability, versatility, and with the support of current technology, can be transformed into superior quality products, both from a technical and also from the aesthetic point of view.
The concrete products are made in own factory, through a casting process. Each piece is handmade. The company is using own special concrete recipe, which meets high performance and workability characteristics.
The colors are made in the mixing phase of the concrete through the pigmentation method. The tiles are then painted with a concrete special paint, thus the durability is very high. Special colors can also be created upon request. The surfaces can have a matte or satined appearance.
The company is interested in purchasing specific industrial machines, which should meet the following technical characteristics:
• aimed at the production of prefabricated concrete tiles by the pressing method, with the support of hydraulic presses;
• aimed at producing products such as terrazzo tiles, cement tiles for flooring, cement tiles for walls, cement/terrazzo tops;
• the maximum dimensions of the finished tiles should be 900x450x60mm;
• minimum production capacity – 200sqm/8hrs;
• capacity to cast tiles in double layer;
• the production process should be automated or semi-automated;
• the machinery producer should ensure the assembly of the installation, as well as training for employee at the production site. - Advantages and Innovations

The production of terrazzo tiles in Romania is something new, there are no local manufacturers. This type of tiles are now being purchased from Spain, Italy and Asia în order to be sold on the local market. Therefore, Tonbeton would respond to a specific market need.
As a utility, terrazzo and concrete tiles are quite often used in pavements, subway stations, building facades, residential and office building cladding.
Currently, the company produces decorative concrete tiles by using the wet casting method. This method is manual, cumbersome, and takes a lot of time and production space. At the same time, the finished product is not 100% qualitative, due to volumetric aspects.
By semi-automating production with hydraulic presses, aș well as polishing and grinding machinery, the production capacity and the quality of products are significantly increased. Such approach no longer requires the tiles to be dried at controlled temperatures for a long period of time. - Technical Specification or Expertise Sought

The production line must be automated or semi-automated în order to cast double-layer tiles, it must include a rotary or linear hydraulic press, a soft and dry material doser, and the surface finishing line must perform grinding and polishing operations. The maximum dimensions of the finished tiles must be 900x450x60mm, with a minimum production capaciy of 200sqm/8hrs.
