The story of this Greek company began in 1977 when the original founders took the daring step to export their olive oil to the US – a bold move for a small family company from Greece to venture into such a huge international market. But the daring move succeeded and the business has never looked back since then.
In its present form the company was officially established in 1997, and since then it has dedicated its activity to specializing in the production and sale of extra virgin olive oil, as well as olive oil infused with various aromas.
It uses the finest of koroneiki variety olives and applies the cold press method to produce its premium quality extra virgin olive oil. In addition, the company has the passion and enthusiasm to take its products one step further and to offer tasty novelties for a healthier and better life. Thus, it has also branched out into producing balsamic vinegar, various preserves, glazes, tapenades, honey and even risotto.
Its products have received various prestigious awards on the international stage, including in the US and Canada.

The company’s extra virgin olive oil is produced from monovarietal koroneiki olives, which have the highest amount of naturally occurring polyphenols.
Polyphenols are good antioxidants that occur naturally in olives. Its chemical analysis shows a high polyphenol rate because of the harvesting methods used by the company. It harvests the olives while they are still green (unripe) because, as the olive ripens, the polyphenol level drops. Studies have shown that a diet rich in polyphenols, which includes olive oil and pomegranate, helps to regulate blood sugar.
Extra virgin olive oil is made simply by crushing olives and extracting the juice. It is the only type of cooking oil that is made without the use of chemicals and industrial refining. Extra virgin olive oil must have no taste defects. It needs to retain the exceptional flavour of fresh olives and achieve higher scores in lab tests for its chemical composition than other grades.
