They try to communicate all of that uniqueness, adventure and journey into the Cretan Vineyards, using as assets their high wine quality, their honesty and their desire to create firm foundations for the company.
Advantages and Innovations
As sustainability advocates, they transitioned to organic viticulture in 2020 and a significant percentage of their cooperating farmers managed to do the same.
As part of their regenerative approach, they have stopped ploughing the ground and only use their own fertilizer made of organic waste from their kitchen, the winemaking process, and the nearby oil mills. Adapting to climate change, they have been moving to higher altitudes and replacing their trellising to the lyre system, among other measures.
Each year, they evaluate yearly both themselves and participating farmers for water, soil, pest and ecosystem management, air quality and community impact. Their yearly performance is publicly available through their Message-In-A-Bottle project.
