A Romanian company offers a logistics-management solution that runs on Android-compatible devices, developed to automate warehousing operations in a variety of industries, including - but not limiting to - manufacturing.
Logistics is a complex and vast field that encompasses many different functions. One of the significant problems in the field is the need to operate a decent number of manual and repetitive tasks. A particularly important aspect is ensuring accuracy and efficiency while performing the tasks. The solution is to remove the blockages in this stage of the workflow.
The application supports reading of barcodes, QR and RFID* tags, which can easily be attached to delivery boxes or packages. When paired with the reading device and current ERP, it validates products for delivery via:

● Warehouse Management
● Inventory Control
Several tasks that can be carried out using this digital solution:
● printing labels
● checking post printing of labels
● checking after handling labels
● exporting the information needed for recurrent stock management duties
Using an Android device and labels, it:
● loads the file containing the current orders that need to be prepared for each client
● uses the label containing the code to load the information with the current delivery orders
● displays visual information in a specific color depending on the status of the product
● validates that the orders contain the complete set of products that need to be delivered
● generates more accurate data
● reduces costs associated with inventory management errors
The system is user-friendly and does not require much training. This makes the process of completing orders easier, since the warning message displays visual information, using color-coded results. The colors represent the status of the product, and the status contains additional relevant information for the picker to identify the error or validate the accuracy of their work.
*RFID tags are smart labels that can store a range of information from serial numbers, to a short description, and even pages of data. They are a type of tracking system that uses radio frequency (that can read multiple objects at once) to search, identify, and track items. This results in a faster and easier gathering of data, eliminating the need for piece-by-piece scanning.
The entire system is also developed for easy integration with existing apps. For example, data can be uploaded to the system, and have it automatically synced with already established ERP systems.
