Events to look out for

Webinar on the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs call for organisations – 7 June, 14:00 CET.  This webinar will provide more information on how to apply to the current Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs open call for organisations to become hosts and/or intermediaries. No login or registration for the event is required. 

Webinar: Expert Talks - European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) – 20 June, 16:00 CET. On this webinar, several ECCP experts will host a discussion on “Digitalisation: challenges and opportunities for SMEs and the role of clusters”. The registration will be open next week.

Funds available

€200 million for businesses in Portugal. The European Investment Fund (EIF) and Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) have signed a new agreement in Portugal under the European Commission’s COSME programme. Under this new funding line, CGD will be able to launch a new €200 million loan product targeting 5,600 businesses in Portugal.

Collector Bank to lend SEK 1 billion to Swedish SMEs with EU support. The European Investment Fund (EIF) has signed the first COSME guarantee agreement in Sweden, with Collector Bank. The EIF will provide a guarantee of SEK 500 million (around €47 million) to allow Collector Bank to issue new loans with more favourable conditions of up to SEK 1 billion (around €94 million). Collector Bank aims to launch a new loan programme to small businesses in Finland towards the end of the year.
