EUR 10 million for Croatian micro-enterprises. Croatian micro-enterprises and start-ups looking to purchase small machinery and equipment worth up to EUR 25,000 can benefit from the guarantee extended last week by the European Investment Fund (EIF) to UniCredit Leasing Croatia.
EU policies for better business
EU consumers benefit from safer online shopping and a wider range of payment services. New EU rules that make it easier and safer for consumers to pay for goods and services online and to manage their personal finances have entered into force. The new rules mean that European consumers will also get better protection against online fraud, and better access to more innovative forms of online and mobile payments.
EU tax transparency tools are working. A report, published last week by the Europen Commission, confirms that EU tax transparency rules are effective in the fight against tax evasion and tax avoidance. The automatic exchange of information between Member States is delivering added-value when it comes to countries' ability to crack down on tax avoidance.
