
EU policies for better business
Toronto hosted first meeting on the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), adopting specific recommendations on SMEs. The newly adoption recommendation will allow small businesses, interested in the opportunities within the CETA agreement, to have easier access to information via contact points and through a dedicated website.
Council of Minister backs up European Commission’s plan to support Member States in building the European supercomputing infrastructure. A Special Joint Undertaking will be put in place to support research and innovations in the field and to allow easier access to the users.
European Parliament approves budget increase of EUR 80 million for the Structural Reform Support Service (SRSS). The SRSS supports EU countries in carrying out structural reforms at national level with aim of creating jobs and sustainable growth.
