Launching of the White Charter on Romanian SMEs

The work was carried out by a group of specialists from National Council of SMEs from Romania and from Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and is the 21st research report on the situation of SMEs in Romania, the entrepreneurial phenomenon, the performances and issues of SMEs, being a reference title in the specialized literature, in Romania. Ever since the release of the first edition, the volume has enjoyed real interest both from the academic and business environment, as well as from the political and diplomatic environment,
In the creation of the "White Chart of Romanian SMEs" - 2023, in addition to the problems specific to SMEs and the national economic and social context generated by the Covid-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine, were taken into account as well the provisions of the EU Strategy, the 2021-2027 financing program and the Small Business Act, the main EU strategic documents that mark the major evolution of SMEs in Europe and implicitly in Romania.
